“What Are We Suppose To Do?”

What are we suppose to do?

This is the question many of us are asking ourselves with this new historical election breathing down our necks.  We have just two months left and we vote.  Do we vote by mail or the polls?  Your crazy if you choose the polls.  Just imagine what it would be like with masks, social distancing and lines.  Perhaps like waiting to get into Walmart for toilet pater when the Pandemic was at its worse!  There is a process once you get inside.  They ask your name looking for it in alphabetical order.  There are booths and you wait until one is free, oh, and be sure to bring your own lead pencil.  We then ask ourselves who was in the booth before me and before them and were they wearing a mask?  Your heart starts to beat faster.  This is a little space I’m huddled in with a curtain to my back checking off names on a ballet, I don’t know if I can do this...
When your finished you step away and walk toward a person in receiving making sure it drops into the box and you walk away.  Why put yourself through that tension, stress and misery wondering, did I take a chance exposing myself while waiting too long?  OR, could I do this right from the privacy of my own home and mail it.  This is what we’re suppose to do making it nice and easy no anxiety or danger and no unnecessary exposure.

What a are we suppose to do about who and what we are voting for?  If you’ve been watching the news and reading articles posted your hearing all kinds of interesting information some of which is slightly fabricated, out right lies or the truth.  How do we know?  Some say go with your gut feeling, others your third eye, use your intuition, 6th sense, what about identifying with the cold facts.  What do we know that’s actually factual?  Well, you could say we know because reputable people stand by it, it’s been proven over and over again, the statistics show, its obvious therefore it’s right.  “What is right?”  “You know, it’s just right?” “How do I know that it’s right?” “It feels right.” “Because I know as a fact I’m right thats why!”  “Oh really...”

Based on what we have heard and seen we should know what feels right at least by now.  If there is doubt here’s an easy test.  Sit somewhere where its comfortable, cozy and quiet.  Close your eyes and try to imagine what kind of world you want to live in.  Ask yourself what about us!  What will or what could it be like for us in 2021?  What kind of government do you want running our country?  How will we be seen by other nations? How do you want to be treated as a person, or as a group or as “A Collective?”  Do we want to feel safe and protected or noted for developing a newly unknown secret weapon?  Do we want to be informed when a situation arises?  Do we want to abide by our States rules and regulations and respect Scientific data while patiently waiting for a vaccine that will end a global pandemic?  How much money do you want to be paid for our worth?  Can we afford health care, college, food, gas, oil, water and the rising costs of living?  How do we feel about about having the right to choose, having the right to vote, having the right to walk safely in the streets, being able to do just about anything except owning any type of automatic weapon used in warfare.  Watching police brutality against minority groups.  The ability and freedom to express how we feel, demonstrate and rally peacefully for all humanitarian rights or if things get a little out of hand get tear gassed and pepper sprayed by the Presidents private army.  Be governed as a Democracy or a Dictatorship look it up there’s a vast difference and we may not take too well to the subtle changes over being told when, why and how to live our lives.  How important is it to voice our opinions or will we be fired or let go then penalized, persecuted and your reputation forever tainted.  What about the poor, the lower class, the middle class, the upper middle class and the very rich?  Where do we see ourselves in this class distinction?  What about the Drug Crisis that labels, frowns and looks down upon those with real serious chronic pain as drug addicts!  What about the inability for nurse practitioners, pain doctors and pain specialists to properly and affectively treat their Chronic Pain patients with Opioid medications using the right dosages that the patient requires without loosing their medical licenses.  What about Mental Health, Behavioral Health and Chronic Pain patients that need Benzodiazepines and Opioids to help treat incurable chronic pain disorders accompanied with high anxiety, and mild depression?  These individuals and there are many are turned away and told they can’t have both treatments so pick, resulting in severe withdrawals, stroke, convulsions, going comatose, slipping into a coma and death.  These poor souls land in ER’s everyday mis-read and mis-diagnosed calling it a drug overdose only to be told that they can be weaned off either of these classes of drugs in three days with no long term Exit Plan!  And finally, what will be the outcome of our businesses, our careers, our homes, condos, apartments, RV travel trailers, motorhomes and park models?  Oh by the way what about the weather forecast today?  Is it safe to travel, take the boat out, plan an outdoor wedding, or even a cookout?   Hell, I could go on forever...

I quess we’ll keep this real simple and concentrate on what we don’t want and that will suffice.

My birthday falls on February 7th, I’m a double Aquarian, somewhat of an activist and humanitarian.  This year on February 7th the President had an interview with Bob Woodward regarding the Corona Virus.  I’m sure by now all of you have seen or heard some version of this tape filtering across the news.  Ironically this date may go down in history!  One thing is for sure what was said can not be misconstrued or twisted it was real and hard to believe.

When I mentioned lets keep it real and simple this is as simple as it gets.  What was said in that interview says it all and if you don’t know how to vote in this election then its best you don’t.  The votes that will count are those seeking change, truth, hope, respect, love and unity.  Good is always stronger than bad and light will overpower darkness.

At this pinnacle time in history it is important that our young people vote for they will inherit the results of this election.  That the majority of seats in the Senate will work together achieving goals and not work in opposition and division.  A positive vision of hope, trust and healing for four more years or the threat of three more terms.  Unfortunately the President defies our Constitution of a two term President and sees himself as a Dictator wanting to rule over his people as that of a King for many years to come, now that’s rather unsettling and bizarre.

So, what are we suppose to do?  It is our given right as Americans to do what is best not only for ourselves but for all people living in the United States.  The fate of this historical election will not only affect us but will have a lasting impression on the world as we have an important seat at the table of the United Nations and this honor we must never loose sight of...

  1. You've hit upon the single most important question of this young century. There's always been times for talking politics, there's also always been times for political actions, few have been as urgent as now, in 2020. The inactions - failure to vote - by the "Double Haters," those who couldn't stomach the idea of either candidate in 2016 led us to the dangerous state we're in now. We have a president who has openly violated his oath of office and our Constitution. He also admires and envies the leaders of other nations not limited to two terms and not long after his election stated he wanted to change the Constitution so that he can spend the rest of his life as president. His words and deeds have been documented and his enormous ego is more important to him the people he's supposed to govern.

Donald Trump will be nothing but a blip in history, he'll be remembered for being the worst president and by far the most dishonest, unable to complete three sentences without including a lie on average. He's done nothing but kill more innocent Americans than all terrorist attacks combined. If he's re-elected one of two things will happen. Either there will be a true revolution or the "Great Experiment" of Democracy in the United States Of America will have failed and Dictatorship will take it's place. If the election is even close, we'll learn that we live in a nation with a majority of racist, hate filled people and the American Way will be the Evil Way.
